At Emerald City Academy of Rhythmic Gymnastics our Mission is to provide girls the opportunity to:

	Enhance their athleticism, grace and character while having fun, being challenged and making new friends

Emerald City Academy of Rhythmic Gymnastics is a fitness based business that promotes healthy lifestyles and character development in our students. We provide programs that are superb and elegant alternatives to traditional gymnastics, cheerleading and dance. Rhythmic gymnastics stresses femininity, flexibility, creativity and artistry, along with building strength, endurance and agility. Since our opening, we have grown at a remarkable pace, adding dozens of beginners to our recreational programs. In addition, our competitive program is home to one of the top 12 nationally ranked Elite gymnasts in the USA.

Emerald City Academy of Rhythmic Gymnastics is a place for girls to develop life skills that they will keep with them forever. The organization and discipline they acquire at the gym will seep into their everyday life. Important values such as persistence and determination are rewarded and naturally reinforced as they are key to progressing at our Academy and succeeding in the sport. On top of it all, participating in rhythmic gymnastics helps girls to develop more beautiful physiques as well as a timeless grace that can stay with them throughout their lives.

Our staff is filled with highly skilled coaches including international level rhythmic gymnasts, professional rhythmic gymnastics performers, certified judges as well as collegiate level artistic gymnasts, cheerleaders and competitive dancers. Together we have over 70 years of experience with the sport of rhythmic gymnastics. It is important to have a high level of instruction at a young age to instill a base of excellent technique and to avoid developing bad habits that are hard to correct later.  We keep our instructor-to-student ratio small, so your child will receive significant personal attention.

All of us at Emerald City Academy have a true passion for rhythmic gymnastics. We believe that many excellent life lessons can be learned through the sport and that intellectual development can be enhanced through this simultaneous, multifaceted combination of movement to music, apparatus handling, routine memorization and attention to detail embodied in the sport. Since our program is really about personal growth at the core, Emerald City supports participation of all ages and levels of commitment. We love being part of this beautiful sport and having a positive influence in the lives of our students.
