"Perhaps we could hardly find a better experience of the past which expresses the body than gymnastics. I Believe, in gymnastic, for the body and music for the mind."

A Day Camp experience . . .
. . . filled with fun, fitness and friendship

The Half Day Camp Program
(mornings-only) is all about Rhythmic Gymnastics!

Campers enjoy challenging, fun workouts. They develop and improve flexibility, strength and aerobic conditioning while having a good time and making friends. They learn rhythmic routines, acrobatics, apparatus handling and rhythmic ballet. Campers will also enjoy decorating equipment for their routines, watching rhythmic instructional videos and learning about healthy eating habits for athletes.

Each day, camp begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends at noon. New Sessions start each Monday, beginning June 13 through August 20 . Program content changes every week, emphasizing different skills and activities.

The Full Day Camp Program

This program adds to the Half Day Program with cross training and opportunities for creative expression. Campers will enjoy
swimming and water sliding at the Ned Baumer Aquatic Center, adjacent to Hour-glass Park. Lifeguards will be on duty during swim time and will evaluate each camper’s skill level to ensure that she remains in areas of the pool appropriate to that level. The rest of the afternoon is devoted to the creative outlets of Arts and Crafts and games.

Each day begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 3:00 p.m. Campers should bring a brown bag lunch. New Sessions start each Monday, June 13 through August 20. Program content changes every week, so Campers will have new experiences and learn new skills each week.

All camp Sessions are held at: Hourglass Park Field House (Located at Mira Mesa College)
